Security
DVR and surveillance cabinets that stay locked, on jobs that cannot go dark.

Reborn in Taiwan
D-200, D-300, and D-400 return with all-new tooling, manufactured entirely in Taiwan. Twenty years in the field. The same locked door. A chassis ready for what comes next.

An enduring standard
For more than two decades this line has been the quiet box behind security and DVR, broadcast, defense and aerospace, and industrial automation. The systems were the story. The chassis held. Classics are not kept as souvenirs. This one was tooled again.

The film
A short look at the D Series: the chassis behind security, broadcast, defense, and automation, tooled again in Taiwan.
Precision craftsmanship
Many lines get cheaper tools when a design gets old. iStarUSA cut entirely new molds and kept production in Taiwan, so the next generation of boards still assembles the way the drawing describes.
01
Steel thickness, bend angle, and the latch of the double door are held to Taiwan precision-machinery standards. Rigidity and the feel of the assembly arrive together.
02
Local manufacture is a shorter supply line and a faster answer when a program changes. It is also the commitment: the chassis that ships is the one on the drawing.
AI and edge
Yesterday this chassis carried digital video and multimedia. Today it faces AI, edge computing, and denser racks. The double-door dust seal and the aluminum face stay. The boards inside do not.
Room for current high-performance boards, accelerator cards, and the cooling those loads actually need.
Industrial floors, outdoor cabinets, and server rooms. The enclosure does not get a day off.

A legend written together
Twenty years of this chassis belongs to the engineers, system integrators, and partners who put it on every job. The steel was never the only asset. The Taiwan-made D-200, D-300, and D-400 are ready for the next one.
